Toddler Community (13 months to 24 months)

Children enter the Toddler Community as they begin to walk and explore with growing independence. This environment is carefully prepared to support their strong need for movement and language development.

At this stage, children refine coordination through purposeful movement—walking, carrying, climbing, andexploring their surroundings. Language is naturally developed through rich conversation, clear vocabulary, and meaningful interactions with adults and the environment.

The focus is on building confidence, independence, and communication, laying a strong foundation for thechild’s next stage of development.

Nido Environment (3 months to 11 months)

The Nido environment supports infants from 3 to 11 months, a stage of rapid physical and sensory development. The primary focus here is on freedom of movement, allowing the child to gradually gaincontrol over their body through natural development.

Simple, carefully prepared spaces encourage reaching, rolling, crawling, and early exploration. Language is gently introduced through consistent, loving communication.

The role of the mother (or primary caregiver) is deeply important at this stage, as the child builds trust, security, and connection—forming the foundation for all future learning.
