Nido Environment (3 months to 11 months)

The Nido environment supports infants from 3 to 11 months, a stage of rapid physical and sensorydevelopment. The primary focus here is on freedom of movement, allowing the child to gradually gaincontrol over their body through natural development.

Simple, carefully prepared spaces encourage reaching, rolling, crawling, and early exploration. Language isgently introduced through consistent, loving communication.

The role of the mother (or primary caregiver) is deeply important at this stage, as the child builds trust, security, and connection—forming the foundation for all future learning.
