Maria Montessori was an Italian physician and educator best known for the philosophy of education that bears her name, and her writing on scientific pedagogy. At an early age, Montessori broke gender barriers and expectations when she enrolled in classes at an all-boys technical school, with hopes of becoming an engineer.

She soon had a change of heart and began medical school at the University of Rome, where she graduated - with honors - in 1896. Her educational method is in use today in many public and private schools throughout the world.

Kolanka Sai Kumar a Classical Carnatic Violinist in his career have received many accolades from Renowned Musicians, Vocalists and Music lovers and critics covering different Genre of music. Recently he was felicitated by Padma Bhushan SP Balasubrahmanyam at a recent program in Hyderabad.

It is a pilot project taken by Sri Galla Jayadev's (Guntur MP) sister Dr. Gourineni Rama to give Montessori training for Anganwadi teachers. Sri GallaJayadevgaru adopted nearly 55 Anganwadi centers to implement Montessori system and Philosophy. For those Anganwdi teachers a team from MTRT Hyderabad is working under AMI EsF . Mrs. UmaRamani (USA) AMI primary Trainer and Mrs. Helen Mohan Elisa AMI EsF Coordinator (India) started to train them. In this regard Mrs. Umashankar is working along with them as volunteer to spread this unique method. Mrs Helen Mohan and Mrs. Umashankar will visit Tulluru every month (two days) to help those teachers and center to implement this Montessori system.

Both the neglegence and over pamparing are major obsticles for child's development
