In the last months of 1997 unofficially, this House of children planted a seed for a single child who was unhappy to attend a school. While working with that child, it grew up as a sapling with nine children in May 1998 as SAMAGNA MONTESSORI HOUSE OF CHILDREN at my residence. Within a couple of years, under the guidance of Mrs. Lakshmi Krishnakumar (AMI primary trainer, MTRT, Hyderabad) it flourished with 45 children, 2 AMI Primary trained adults and one assistant.
In April 2000, Samagna MHOC moved to its new premises, with family elders’ blessings, to Madhav Nagar colony Saidabad. By 2003, it started to work with more than 50 children and 4 AMI trained adults.
